Leo O’Malley

Leo was born and raised in Glen Ellyn, IL with two younger sisters. He attended Wheaton College, IL and graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Applied Mathematics and Organ Performance. Leo spent his 1L summer as a legal intern for the Thomas More Society in Chicago and his 2L summer as a Bradley Foundation Legal Fellow at Napa Legal Institute in Washington, DC. Over the past two years, Leo has worked as a legal intern for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, contributed as a student writer to the Federalist Society Blog, and been invited to serve as a student liaison member of the Federalist Society Civil Rights Practice Group Executive Committee. Currently, Leo is also a research assistant to Professor Stephanie Barclay. In his free time, Leo enjoys reading historical and fantasy novels, cooking, and spending time with his family in South Dakota. After graduation, Leo will clerk for Justice Janine M. Kern of the South Dakota Supreme Court.
